SAKURA Project
Study of Astrophysical Key reactions in the Universe with the low-energy RI beam Apparatus
We started a SAKURA project to answer the question of the origin of the matter in the universe by employing the world-unique device OEDO-SHARAQ in RIBF in 2019 following the successful experiment of the IMPACT17-02-02 in which neutron capture rate on long-lived isotope of 79Se was evaluated. In 19th NP-PAC of RIBF, two experimental proposals were approved. The first one is for the r-process nucleosynthesis, while the other is for nu-p process. Here is the summary of the project. Some of them can be accessed by only collaborators of the project.
